Position Requirements:

  • BS/MS/PhD in Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry; BS with at least 5 - 8 years of industrial experience; Ph.D. with at least 3 years of industrial experience.
  • Experienced with analytical HPLC and in particular HPLC-MS.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently while also willing to follow protocols, resourcefulness, and innovative thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly attentive to details, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work within schedules and deadline.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Hands-on experience with quantitative analysis and reporting of bioanalytical data.
  • Hands-on experience with sample extraction from tissue and plasma.
  • Ability to quickly learn new data-analysis software and efficiently manipulate large datasets in Excel.
  • Willingness to learn existing techniques outside one’s field and to introduce new techniques.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to details and good organization skills.
  • Will work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Skills desired:

  • Track record of developing or preforming in vitro DMPK assays.
  • Thorough understanding of PK concepts in theory and practice, experience with running PK simulations and modeling.
  • Proficient in WinNonLin Software, R-programming, and/or Python.
