Research Associate, DMPK

Description:
- Conduct in vitro ADME assays, such as metabolic stability, P450 inhibition, solubility and plasma protein binding
- Perform biological sample preparation and LC/MS-based quantitative analysis
- Develop new assays as required
- Help with formulation preparation as needed
- Collect, analyze, summarize, upload to internal databases and report high quality data in a timely manner
- Perform routine instrument maintenance; identify and troubleshoot on any issue arising while performing regular duties
- Collaborate with team members from multiple functional areas, participate in project and PK team meetings
Qualifications/Experience:
- Knowledge of and experience with standard in vitro ADME/PK assays and biological sample preparation
- In-depth experience with LCMS-based quantitative analysis (small molecules)
- Basic understanding of ADME/PK concepts and principles
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, drive and attention to details
- Ability to work with limited oversight to develop and trouble-shoot assays while delivering high quality data in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, interacting with members of various levels
- Knowledge of Dotmatics and Prism a plus
- Experience with metabolite profiling and identification desired but not required
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in a scientifically related discipline with at least 2 years of industry experience
- Ability to work in the US
