The Biologics Microchemistry Proteomics and Lipidomics (MPL) department in Genentech Inc., a client group of Evotec, is looking for an Associate Scientist to establish Ribo-seq and assess its utility in bridging the gap between transcriptomic and translational proteomic data and in discovery of neoantigens and new therapeutic targets. 

Skills

• Strong background in molecular biology and genomics.
• Expertise in ribosome profiling technologies is highly desirable.
• Knowledge about translational control, neoantigen discovery and multiomics approach is valuable.
• Familiarity with next generation sequencing and proteomics technologies as well as computational tools for genomic and proteomic data analysis is a plus.
• Ability to independently design, execute and troubleshoot experiments, perform data analysis and interpret results is required.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Education

PhD in Molecular Biology or a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on lab experience.
