Eurofins Discovery is searching for an energetic marketing assistant to support marketing activities for our drug discovery services portfolio. This role will support web design, marketing activities including trade shows, sales training, product and catalog management, competitive assessments and innovation, and collaborate with our global marketing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support to business line marketing team in planning and monitoring marketing campaigns.
• Collects and curates content provided by scientific contributors. Optimize and prepare content for digital and printed collateral (ex. flyers, case studies, white papers, and webinars).
• Collaborates with the global marketing/communication team to ensure multi-channel communications according to the agreed plan and the corporate charter and marketing policies.
• Manages the organization of regional sales events and trade shows; and also serves as a liaison with congress organizers.
• Collects data and manages metrics from marketing and communication efforts. Presents data to the management team and provides input in developing effective campaigns to raise corporate notoriety and sales lead generation.
• Provides general administrative support to marketing and management team.
• Supports digital marketing and web design activities, including creating content and data management.
• Responsible for implementing and updating the marketing / communication plan, including budget, timelines and status updates.
• Supports pricing and positioning of portfolio. Provides competitive marketing and pricing analysis in support of marketing strategy.
• Supports portfolio management activities and new service lifecycle management, innovation.
• Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required.
  
  
• Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements.
• Performs work in an office and laboratory setting, meeting the physical job requirements of role.
• Demonstrates proficiency with, care and maintenance of lab equipment and department assets.
• Works effectively in a team environment, under minimum direction, to achieve business production, project timelines, and quality objectives.
• Completes required training and supports 100% of Employee Health and Safety requirements.
• Conducts responsible use of confidential IT and business systems, as required.
• Adheres to department SOP's and documentation requirements, maintains accurate data management and reporting.
• Supports unit goals and demonstrates Eurofins' competencies, as defined in the job plan.
• Routinely communicates project updates to internal and external clients and performs other duties, as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (M.B.A is a plus) 2+ years’ experience in marketing, preferably in life sciences
